Annie Harrison Designs   Sacred Watersculpture
NAUTILUS MANDALA (Detail)

Within the inner chamber of the sculpture rests an ancient ammonite fossil from
Madagascar. Its pattern depicts exquisitely the elegance of the Golden Spiral.
Translucent, and illuminated from behind, the fossil is enveloped by an opaque glass
circle -- a universal symbol of the Divine Realm, the Infinite Source of All That Is.

Water flows gently from the inner chamber of the sculpture, cascading in a triangular
form over the creamy beige marble. The upward pointing triangle calls forth the
Sacred Masculine and is associated with solar energies, aspiration, light and the
spiritual realm. The downward pointing triangle, formed by the flowing water,
represents the Sacred Feminine, and it is associated with the natural world, lunar
energies, grace, rebirth and renewal. The nautilus mandala  embodies the principle of
balance and harmony amidst dynamic growth and change.

STONE:
CREMA MARFIL marble from Italy

Note:  While the size and general appearance of each nautilus fossil is consistant,
each one is unique. Slight variations occur.
